Okay, blaming Dan Jones for all of the problems with the Deseret News’ report that Utahns don’t want tax cuts for businesses isn’t enrtirely fair. The Deseret News should carry some blame too. Specifically, I am concerned with the graphic presented in the article (also shown in this post). I hate to repeat many previous [...] Well, this year’s State of the State address by Governor Jon Huntsman, Jr. at least had me nodding my head a couple of times. That doesn’t mean that I agreed with most of it though. Let’s take it point by point. Huntsman said: “First, we need a personal income tax system that is simpler, flatter, [...] You all know that I am a big media critic. You know that I don’t support much of what is available on TV, and if it is smut, that it shouldn’t be there. You know that I would love for TV to go back to the good old shows like the Cosby Show, Knight Rider, [...] Often when you read such a list, you will find that it is a demand for more government services, more government regulations, and more government control. Well, you know from me that isn’t going to be the case. In fact, my wish list is rather small. It is a couple of I wants. But they [...] Okay, it is time for the confession. Okay, maybe it is past time for the confession. I have given up on complete the Marathon. Well, that isn’t completely true. It is one of my goals still and I plan on completing it.
